After several years as the local league coordinator for the once Downeast and now the Coastal Plains local league, I have decided to retire at the end of the 2011 combo season. I have enjoyed serving at the local league coordinator. League tennis has grown in the area thanks to the many captains and players along with the support of facility owners and managers. Thanks everyone!

Come out and support the Lenoir Community College Foundation Scholarship Program at the 2011 Snow Hill/LCC Foundation Tennis and Golf Classic. This fundraiser will be held at Greene Ridge Racquet Club starting August 25. From tennis to golf, this tournament has something for everyone. New this year, we will be selling reverse raffle tickets for a chance to win the grand prize of $2,500. Tickets are only $50 and can be purchased by calling Bobby Taylor at 252.526.2970 or Sharon Miller at 252.233.6843. All proceeds benefit the students of Greene County.
